Helichrysum and Copaiba
Hey Mama, I’m here to talk about 2 of my favorite oils, well they are my favorite oils this week, because they do change. I want to talk about Copaiba and helichrysum. And you are wondering those are her two favorite oils…? Yes, they are this week. Friday my husband and I went out on a date and after we ate I went into the restroom and I did not see the wet floor sign that was way over here in the opposite corner as I went into the bathroom stall. The floor was wet and I slipped, my feet went right out from underneath me and I fell flat on my butt, my back, then my head. The first thing I noticed was the goose egg on the back of my head and it hurt. Then I thought to myself oh my goodness this is a disgusting wet bathroom floor and I just fell on it. I couldn’t wait to get home to get my clothes off and in the wash. Anyway it took me a minute to get my bearings and get up, but I did. Later on I noticed oh my back feels kind of tweaked, but when I got home and walked up my stairs to go to my front door that is when I noticed the real pain, it was in my tailbone. Now I don’t know if I broke a tailbone or not, I fell pretty dang hard on it, but it was probably just bruised. That is where Helichrysum and Copaiba came to the rescue. Helichrysum is fantastic for bruising, it also helps with bleeding and pain. It is the oil of pain relief. Copaiba helps all the other oils work better. So of course I’m going to grab copaiba and it has its own inflammatory and pain properties in it. I have been applying these constantly to the backside of my buttocks to help with the pain. If I did take allopathic medication for pain, this would be the time, because that pain level was up around like an 8, it was pretty intense. Even rolling over in bed hurt. Today is day 4 and I’m feeling the effects of it pretty good, but thanks to these two oils, it’s a ton better. These are oils that for sure you as a mom want to make sure that you have in your diaper bag or in your medicine cabinet all the time. When your little one falls, when they hit their head on the corner of the coffee table, helichrysum is going to help take that swelling down right away and help that bruising. Both are fantastic oils to have with you all of the time.
