Almost anyone that has been through pregnancy gets the awesome experience of learning what this word means “Cankles”! If you skimp on protein you may find yourself prone to fluid retention around your calves, ankles, and feet. Protein helps to hold salad and water in your blood vessels and without enough protein these fluids can seep into your surrounding tissues. When water and protein are in optimal amounts you’ll generally not have to experience this. Drink a minimum amount of half your body weight in ounces of water and get 80 – 100g of protein a day. Mix in a 10mL roller bottle and fill to the top with fractionated coconut oil.
